Delicate sculptures of thread mimic architectural structures such as columns along side hand-woven gestural forms that convey comfort. The fragile and visually permeable columns appear as shadows of solid structural forms. These sculptures confront notions of comfort and safety: a hammock that can’t hold weight or a column that can’t bear weight.Facebook Event
